MTM Day 7: REVIEW of The Greek Billionaire and His Secretary by Marian Tee

Along with The Art of Kissing A Greek BillionaireNY Times and USA Today Best Selling Author Marian Tee also released a prequel to a new romantic series with Stavros and Willow.

I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC of this book The Greek Billionaire and His Secretary from the author herself. It was such a huge honor, and so I'll try my best to give this book justice through my review.

NOTE: It's best to read this book AFTER you've read all 6 of the Greek series.

Title: The Greek Billionaire and His Secretary
Author: Marian Tee
Genre: Romance, Contemporary
Published on: February 27, 2015
Source: ARC Given by Author

SYNOPSIS:
It started as one of the worst nights in 27-year-old Stavros Manolis’ life. A powerful and lethally good-looking Greek billionaire, he could have had any woman – but the one he wanted, he had lost, and so here he was now, attending her farewell party, forced to bear the sight of her in her husband’s arms.

But that was just the start.
When Willow Somerset, a curvy 24-year-old junior editor, joined his table, taunting and embarrassing him with her mocking laughter and sly words, he burned with a mixture of offended pride, anger…and desire. She was everything he disliked in a woman, but his body felt differently.
Someone clearly needed to teach her some manners, needed to let her know there were better uses for her mouth than letting it run away from her.

Luckily for Willow, that person was him.

CHARACTER BACKGROUND:
Stavros Manolis is a Greek billionaire (because our lovely author just won't settle for a millionaire). He was introduced in the Greek series as someone who's apparently head over heels with Mairi since they were younger. (but as we all know Mairi is happy with her own billionaire, Damen). Stavros is knows for being reserved and well-mannered. However, this hunk's self-control is being tested by our feisty leading lady.

Willow Somerset is a character introduced in the Greek series as well. She's loud, has a horrible taste in fashion, and is simply a rebel. She obviously has reasons for being who she is, but whatever those are, we'll most probably find out in future books (see how I said "books" instead of singular? That's me hoping for at least 3 books for these two). She's also someone who keeps pushing Stavros' buttons. She makes him NOT be a gentleman, makes him rougher, and makes him forget about his feelings for another woman.

TO LOVE:
It's a new romantic series...need I say more? It's always exciting when a really good author starts a new series. It's like you're being tempted with chocolate, but you can't have the entire piece. Especially with Ms. Tee. She has this habit of starting several series, then it would take a while for her to release the next installment. Why? Because her imagination is so colorful that she decided to do another story! And we're like, *depressed face on* "she left us hanging again." It makes me both sad and happy. Sad because it might take while for us to find out what's going to happen next, and happy because...well, a new book is coming out. Should you even complain? *knowing smile*

Marian usually writes about women who are usually shy and soft-spoken. But not Willow. No. This girl is the exact opposite of the earlier stated adjectives. And it's a really nice break. I've only read about another no-nonsense leading lady from Marian Tee's books, and that is Lace *resisting temptation to blurt out other details*.

One other key scene that I loved (totally drooled and flushed because of it), was the intimate scene. I totally found what they did so hot. Especially how they did it. If you want to know what the scene is, you know what to do. *wink*

TO BLEH:
I don't really have a bleh moment. I guess the book was a little too short for that. Which is completely understandable since it was just a prequel. I had a hard time picturing her dress during the party though. But that's not really anything to criticize anyone about. As long as it doesn't look like the freaking white-gold, blue-black dress, then we're good!

SUMMARY:
I liked this book a lot and I can't wait to read the following installments. I'm sure they're gonna be awesome. So, if it isn't obvious yet, this is a "TO-READ" but like I noted earlier, it would be best to read the Greek series first.

I'm sure you guys would like this as much as I did, so do get it. It won't disappoint. I hope this has been a good review, and please let me know what you think.
