Karma #AtoZChallenge

I am a strong believer of karma. "Do unto others what you want others to do unto you" and stuff. But there is a huge difference between doing something just for the heck of it and doing something because you're expecting something in return. I think the latter is pretty rotten.

But realistically speaking, when you do something for someone, they have it in their minds that you would want something in return. More often than not, in my case, this is wrong. I'm sure there are a lot out there like me in that sense.

The thing is though, when you're a blogger -- namely of books -- there are really cool perks. And who are we to say "no" to said perks?

If you're a book blogger, you can be a book tour host. When you become one, you get updated with the latest releases, cover reveals, and you even get free books. Like I said, I don't expect anything in return but I'm not going to deny myself freebies!!

Besides, it's a great way to grow your network. You get to meet fellow bloggers, book nerds (said in a very fond way), and authors.

I guess that's the best part, you know? Getting the chance to be in touch with authors you just idolize, but never really imagined to have an actual conversation with. It's awesome.

So I suggest being tour hosts, for those who aren't yet. You can find the sites I'm a member of on the right side of this page. It's truly amazing.

By the way, I feel like I strayed from my original topic so here's my explanation. I'm a bit distracted while writing this because I'm kind of busy drooling and YouTube-stalking Brandon Routhe. That man is FIIINNNEEE!!
